Launch of Presidential Scholars in Society and Neuroscience

July 21, 2015

The Center for Science and Society is pleased to announce the launch of the Presidential Scholars in Society and Neuroscience program (PSSN), a new interdisciplinary Columbia University Presidential initiative. The program fosters direct communication and knowledge sharing between experts in the arts, humanities, social sciences with those in neuroscience and related fields; thus creating a new paradigm for interdisciplinary university-sponsored research.

PSSN supports an interdisciplinary postdoctoral Presidential Scholars training program, awards faculty seed grants for collaborative research in Society and Neuroscience, and organizes public and scholarly events on cross-disciplinary topics related to mind, brain and behavior.
