Co-Production of Knowledge Grants
This grant supports projects led by community-based nonprofits in partnership with a Columbia University affiliate to center local needs in research dynamics.

Course Development and Augmentation Grants
This grant supports the development and augmentation of cross-disciplinary and co-taught classes in environmental justice, climate humanities, and co-production of knowledge.

This grant supports projects that center the humanities in the study of environmental problems and the climate crisis.

This grant supports graduate student groups that explore topics at the intersection of science and society.

Center & Institute Initiative to Enhance Remote Learning and Teaching
With a challenging academic year ahead, these grants support proposals that cultivate student engagement and enhance the online learning experience for Columbia students and instructors.

This program supports efforts to help boost public understanding, education, and response to societal concerns surrounding science, technology, or medicine.

Seed grants are awarded to innovative interdisciplinary projects involving the study of science and society that require modest amounts of seed money to initiate collaborative research, workshops, and other activities.
