Kavita Sivaramakrishnan Appointed Interim Director

The Center for Science and Society's Founding Director Pamela Smith will on sabbatical leave during the 2019-2020 academic year to focus on the Making and Knowing Project's upcoming release of its Digital Critical Edition (learn more via M&K's Research Cluster page). 

In her absence, Kavita Sivaramakrishnan, Associate Professor of Sociomedical Sciences, will serve as the Center's Interim Director. Kavita is also Co-Leader of the Global Histories of Science Reseach Cluster. Kavita has already begun developing programming and research goals for the upcoming year, organized under the theme of Knowledge and Access.
