Founding Director Pamela Smith Leads Columbia's New Distinguished Fellows Program

Pamela Smith, the Center for Science and Society's Founding Director, has been named the first Faculty Director of the new Distinguished Fellows Program.

The program will offer a select group of leaders the opportunity to spend a year within Columbia's academic community. Fellows will learn from faculty, engage with students, and participate in outings across New York City. Fellows will have at least two decades of senior-level leadership in the private, public, or non-profit sectors. Pamela will work closely with the fellows and lead the program's seminar series.

Congratulations to Pamela!
