Conference Video: Weaving: Cognition, Technology, Culture

May 09, 2017

Numerous faculty, postdoctoral fellows, students, and members of the public attended the Weaving: Cognition, Technology, Culture conference, which took place at Columbia University over four days at the beginning of April. The interdisciplinary event comprised weaving demonstrations, and featured an array of speakers from psychology, history, technology, biomedical engineering, neurology, sociology, anthropology, and other fields and disciplines. If you missed the weaving demonstrations, Presidential Scholar Lan Li put together a short video that features the visiting weavers from Lao Textiles, and Carla Childs from Germantown Friends School. Video of the conference will be available in early summer.
