Center Spotlight: COVID-19 Science and Society Resources

Like nearly everyone around the globe, daily life at the Center for Science and Society has been uprooted during the COVID-19 pandemic. Many of us are looking for ways to help, options for teaching our children, and sometimes, an escape from it all. This week, we have updated our Science and Society Resources webpage with a wealth of new information including:

• #coronavirussyllabus crowdsourced from hundreds of professors and scholars and includes relevant books, podcasts, film, and other teaching syllabi for higher education.
• Find volunteer opportunities for data entry, software development, design, and biotech.
• NYC scientists, researchers, and managers can volunteer through Columbia Researchers Against COVID19.
• Donate to your local food bank (database from Feeding America).
• Explore online programming from science centers and museums across the country.
