Apply for Graduate Student Interest Group Funding

The Center for Science and Society is pleased to announce its second call for graduate student interest groups! Columbia University graduate students can propose interest groups that explore topics at the intersection of science and society.
Potential group activities could include book discussions, workshops and training, guest speakers, media projects, or field trips.
Two awards of up to $1,000 are available. Applications are due October 5, 2026. Learn more via the call for applications.
