Event Description
In 2021, the Environmental Sciences and Humanities Research Cluster's focus is on history and climate change, with a particular emphasis on Africa, Latin America, Indigenous North America, and South Asia. This reading group will allow those interested in history and climate change to get to know each other and hopefully generate ideas for future collaborations. For the first meeting, the group will read Bradley Skopyk's “Rivers of God, Rivers of Empire: Climate Extremes, Environmental Transformation and Agroecology in Colonial Mexico.”
