Cori Bush has been called the "next AOC." This summer, she shocked political observers by winning her primary election for Missouri's 1st congressional district the in U.S. House of Representatives. A registered nurse, Bush has run unapologetically as a progressive, pushing for Medicare for All, a Green New Deal, and a living wage. She has also been active against racism in law enforcement and policing since the Ferguson, Mo uprisings.
