Brisa Sánchez Zavala will talk about her experience researching nemauhtilli (susto or fright) starting from her own interdisciplinary approach (chemistry/anthropology/Latin American studies) and about the importance of doing research from various epistemologies (mainly Nahua).

Contaremos con la presencia de Brisa Sánchez Zavala, química y antropóloga cultural que investiga las prácticas medicinales de las comunidades nahuas de la Huasteca Veracruzana desde un enfoque biomédico y desde la epistemología nahua de esta región. Nos acompañará para hablarnos del trabajo de revitalización interdisciplinario y comunitario y de la importancia de la lengua.
