Description

St. Lawrence University invites applications for a two-year ASIANetwork-Luce Postdoctoral Teaching Fellowship in Asian Studies with a focus on public health within Southeast and/or Northeast Asia to begin August 15, 2021. This will be a joint appointment in the Asian Studies Program and Public Health Program.

The successful candidate will teach three courses per year in their area of expertise, all geared to a broad undergraduate audience consisting of majors and non-majors, attend departmental and faculty meetings, keep office hours, and mentor students. The Fellow will organize a faculty reading group that will meet throughout the academic year; will work with program faculty to offer a series of guest lectures/discussions in their classes; and will offer public presentations, lectures, and/or other events open to the campus on the topic of the Fellow’s research or other subjects related to Asian Studies and Public Health.
