Description
The Program in the History of Science, Technology and Medicine at the University of Minnesota is accepting applications for a Fall 2022 lecturer. The lecturer will teach the course Stone Tools to Steam Engines: Technology and History to 1750. This course uses historical case studies to demonstrate that technology is not autonomous, but a human activity, and that people and societies made choices about the technologies they developed and used. Duties include developing and maintaining course materials; delivering lectures; and managing teaching assistants.
