Description
The Institute of the Environment and Sustainability at the University of California, Los Angeles invites applications for a full-time tenure-track Assistant Professor position in the field of environmental justice. A focus for this position is applying an interdisciplinary lens to understanding how one or more of the many dimensions of environmental racism and justice impact the lives of people in underserved communities. This position has an anticipated start date of Autumn 2022 and will have a 9-month service period. The successful candidate will teach three courses per academic year over three quarters, including undergraduate and graduate courses in their areas of specialization as well as other Institute classes.
