GR8067: Medieval Societies and Institutions | A. Kosto

The seminar has three goals: 1) to introduce students to research tools and methods for medieval European history; 2) to introduce students to the study of medieval written records (diplomatics), and 3) to guide students in identifying and developing appropriate research topics. The course will focus on medieval Latin documents, although students interested in exploring vernacular documents may do so.
