Call for Applications: Residential Fellowships, Linda Hall Library

January 18, 2019

Doctoral students, scholars with a PhD or equivalent, and independent researchers who can demonstrate similar professional or academic experience are eligible to apply. Those who reside in the Kansas City area are not eligible for residential research fellowships. The Kansas City area is defined as Jackson, Cass, Ray, and Platte Counties in Missouri and Johnson and Wyandotte Counties in Kansas.

Fellowship funding is offered up to $3,000 per month for doctoral students and up to $4,200 per month for postdoctoral scholars.

The Linda Hall Library offers residential fellowships from one to four months for doctoral students and other scholars whose work would benefit from research in the Library’s collections. The Library offers researchers a setting that allows for deep immersion in its outstanding collections and a rich intellectual community of in-house experts, fellows, and scholars from nearby Kansas City institutions.

Please apply via the Linda Hall Library website. Please contact the Fellowship Department at [email protected] with any questions.
