Eligibility:
- Full-time and part-time faculty at Columbia University. Individual faculty, groups of faculty from the same department, and interdisciplinary teams are welcome to apply.
- Courses to be offered during either fall 2020, spring 2021, or summer 2021.
Amount:
- Selected courses funded from $2,000 up to $20,000 and in-kind support from the Columbia Center for Teaching and Learning.
Description:
Teaching and Learning Grants, offered by the Columbia Office of the Provost, help faculty integrate new technology and educational approaches into their classrooms and develop jointly taught interdisciplinary courses. The grant categories are:
- Innovative Course Design
- Innovative Course Module Design
- Large-Scale Teaching and Learning Grants
- Massive Open Online Courses (MOOCs)
- Interdisciplinary Teaching Awards
- Emerging Technology Grants
