Open to all doctoral students at Columbia University, Union Theological Seminary, Jewish Theological Seminary, and Teachers College.
Amount:
Each award is $3,000. Please note, funds cannot be used for travel until the current Columbia restriction is lifted.
Description:
The Institute for Religion, Culture, and Public Life is announcing a new source of fellowship support for PhD students at Columbia University. The 2020 Scholarship Fund places an emphasis on meeting unexpected expenses, on account of the COVID-19 pandemic, that are affecting students’ ability to pursue their research and writing. Research projects must be related to the core areas of IRCPL’s work on religion, secularism, and related topics.
