School of Social Work Room #C03, Columbia University, 1255 Amsterdam Ave., New York

As doctoral students, you spend the bulk of your time learning how to rigorously produce answers to important questions. This panel will help you think about what you can do with the knowledge you are learning to create. Please join Jennifer Hirsch, Co-Director of the Columbia Population Research Center, for this panel on Thursday April 14th, intended for Columbia university doctoral students across all schools, at which faculty who are recent participants in the Public Voices Fellowship program will discuss their experiences sharing their expertise with the world outside the university through Op-eds and other forms of popular writing as well as through public speaking.

Speakers include David L Bell, Anne Higonnet, Jessica E. Justman, and Marni Sommer, who over their year as Public Voices fellows shared their expertise with hundreds of thousands of people across the country and around the world.

Registration required, please visit theĀ CPRC website.
