Event Description
Join a conversation with Sherry Turkle on her latest book, The Empathy Diaries, a memoir that intertwines Turkle’s life story with her research. This event explores Turkle’s use of and relationship to rhetoric in her exploration of society and technology. Her talk will also serve as an introduction for a new undergraduate seminar course, Rhetoric of Science, developed by the Research Cluster on Science and Subjectivity.
