Event Description: 

Coinciding with the Museum of the Moving Image's new exhibition “Envisioning 2001,” the monthly series Outer Space Speculators will present science fiction films that offer speculative visions of space grounded in scientific research. This month features a screening of the 1997 movie "Contact" with an introduction by Lisa Kaltenegger who will discuss the latest in the search for new life.
