Event Description

The Science Studies Working Group offers a friendly environment for graduate students interested in science studies to meet students and faculty working on similar topics, and to receive feedback on works-in-progress. In addition to workshopping student pieces, the group hopes to plan small panels themed around topics such as publishing your first article, applying for grants and fellowships for science studies scholarship. This first session will be a beginning of year meet-and-greet, where everyone can introduce themselves and discuss what form the workshop will take this year.
