Event Description:
The Making and Knowing Project (a Research Cluster within the Center for Science and Society) has partnered with the Sato Sakura Gallery to present a compelling look into the intersection of human expression in art and our understanding of the natural world.
This panel discussion seeks to highlight how knowledge of natural materials has been essential to methods of artistic expression since early human history, and it continues to inform artistic practice to this day.
