Event Description

Rhonda Dailey will provide an overview of the impact of social determinants of health (economic, neighborhood environment, and healthcare) on perinatal health disparities and will discuss her publication of a validity and reliability analysis of the Quality of Prenatal Care Questionnaire (QPCQ), a 46-item instrument used to measure prenatal care quality perceptions in a cohort of Black women enrolled in the Biosocial Impact on Black Births study. She will also discuss preliminary results of the association of Black women’s personal experiences with everyday healthcare discrimination and the subscales of the QPCQ.
