Event Description

How does a brain scanner reveal the way our minds process music differently from noise—and how does a jazz musician translate a silent thought into sound? Join for an evening bridging neurotechnology and live music. Speakers will explore how an MRI scanner functions as a window into the living brain, drawing a parallel between how scientists decode magnetic brain signals and how a jazz composer transforms an idea into music.
