Event Description

Until his passing, Alan Berkman was a professor in the epidemiology and sociomedical sciences departments at Columbia University's Mailman School of Public Health. He’d also spent much of his adult life as an FBI fugitive. This event discusses his complicated journey and legacy, from medical wunderkind to left-wing revolutionary to global health hero and epidemiologist.
