Event Description
The Science, Knowledge, and Technology Workshop (SKAT) gathers social scientists interested in how knowledge is created, distributed, drawn upon, and collectively understood. The workshop brings together diverse theoretical perspectives and methodological approaches to the social studies of SKAT. The workshop is primarily designed to assist advanced graduate students with their ongoing research projects. The workshop aims to expose participants to original approaches to social studies of science and technology and expose students to solutions to common challenges of academic work. It provides a supportive environment offering feedback and advice on all aspects of academic work, from devising and conducting research to producing written texts.
