Event Description 

This event focuses on the intriguing interplay between climate advocacy and a career in neuroscience, dissecting the common threads and ways academics can shape policies in this critical domain. It will explore the significance of impactful policy measures within academic institutions, local communities, and broader regions. Central to this exchange is the notion of “social mobilization," what it means and how it can be utilized by scientists for climate change issues. Attendees will emerge with an understanding of effective strategies for scholarly advocacy and an understanding of how they can champion meaningful change.
