Event Description

The surface glamour and glitz of the modeling industry masks underlying exploitation. Most models work contingently, often without clear assurances about wages. The Model Alliance has been fighting for better labor protections for them and those on the factory floor. In an era where more industries are seeing awakened labor consciousness, its work is extraordinarily instructive.
