Event Description

The 2025 fires in Los Angeles was not the first time a mega-fire has ravaged the American landscape. In this talk, Daniel Immerwahr analyzes the impact of fire and wood at different junctures in American history. In the era of climate change and drier and drier timber, the public health implications of the country's "fire history" are immense.
