CPRC Children, Youth, and Families Annual Mini-Conference: New Research on Disparities in Health and Development

A new wave of innovative and dynamic research by CPRC researchers and colleagues has examined the multidimensional disparities in health and development among children, youth, and families around the globe. The CPRC invites you to join a group of leading interdisciplinary scholars to learn about exciting new research, network, and engage in discussions about the next steps of scholarly pursuits and policy developments. Topics to be addressed include:

Gender gaps in human capital investment in Africa and China; socioeconomic status (SES) gaps in achievement across countries; social media, drug use, and gang violence among youths; what works in early childhood education?; evidence from universal Pre-K and the Getting Ready for School Initiative; the Sexual Health Initiative to Foster Transformation (SHIFT): Interdisciplinary mixed-methods research on sexual assault and sexual health.
