Event Description: 

Join us on September 26 for a powerful talk with environmentalist and activist Bill McKibben. McKibben came to public consciousness with the 1989 publication of The End of Nature, the first book for a general audience to warn of the danger of global warming.

For this special Climate Week NYC event, he will discuss his new book Falter: Has the Human Game Begun to Play Itself Out?, his ongoing advocacy, and what we can all do to help in the fight to protect our world. Audience Q&A and book signing to follow.

Bill McKibben co-founded 350.org, an international climate change organization that now spans 188 countries.
