We can already see the effects of a changing climate. Last year saw record numbers of hurricanes and wildfires, and was the worst year for polar ice melt. Research leaders around the world believe that the next decade will require unprecedented, powerful, action to curb greenhouse gas emissions and avoid the most catastrophic climate impacts.
