Event Description
Join an open conversation with Veno Tjiseaua. Veno studies human-environment interactions and rangeland ecology in his family home of northwestern Namibia. Veno's career has spanned policy research, academia and industry, with time spent in government, think tanks and microfinance. Veno will speak about his career, the challenges of interdisciplinary research, and the ways in which he has brought his personal experience as a pastoralist into his work. This is an informal conversation event, and questions from students are encouraged.
