The Committee on Global Thought (CGT) Lunchtime Seminars are a forum for Columbia University faculty and visiting scholars to present current research characterizing and assessing issues of global importance.

Join speaker Ben Orlove and moderator Lisa Dale for Climate Change and Discursive Change: Tracing Terms and Concepts through International Climate Organizations. 

Ben Orlove is an anthropologist with a focus on climate change and glacier retreat. At Columbia University, he teaches in the Master’s Program in Climate and Society, for which he serves as Associate Director. He is a Senior Research Scientist at the International Research Institute for Climate and Society, and is one of the four co-directors of the Center for Research in Environmental Decisions.
