Benjamin Bostick
Benjamin Bostick is a geochemist at Columbia University’s Lamont-Doherty Earth Observatory. Professor Bostick’s research examines fundamental chemical and biological processes in natural environments to understand the origin and distribution of arsenic, uranium and other contamination, and to develop remediation techniques to address them. That research fuses laboratory research with field research through extensive collaborations between individuals, communities and policymakers to best impact environmental quality at scale. He has more published more than 150 research papers on these topics, and using those findings to inform policies. In his free time, he is an avid photographer and likes to research the origins of foods, words and everyday things.
Benjamin Bostick serves as an Advisory Committee Member.
