Interdisciplinary study of ancient Roman engineering and architecture. Construction principles, techniques, and materials: walls, columns, arches, vaults, domes. Iconic Roman buildings and infrastructure Comparisons with current practice as well as cross-cultural comparisons with other pre-modern societies across the globe.
