AI in Society takes a social science approach to understanding the rise of AI and its uses in various educational, cultural, and work settings. The course will train students in how to critically engage with AI in these settings through a variety of means, including by conducting interviews with workers experiencing AI-driven workplace changes, auditing algorithmic systems for bias, and analyzing AI representations in popular culture
