Eligibility: 

Applicants should have research and teaching experience at a professorial level within humanistic information studies. Applications are welcome from researchers having either a background within a relevant humanistic subject combined with a solid knowledge of the basics of computer science or, conversely, a background in computer science combined with strong, documented interests in humanistic research perspectives on computer science.

It is expected that international staff will be able to teach in Danish after two years.

Amount:

Salary will be 536,665.33 Danish Kroner per year (roughly $78,000) plus pension.

The Department of Design and Communication at the University of Southern Denmark invites applications for a position as Professor in Humanistic Information Studies. The Department is highly interdisciplinary. The position involves developing the department's research and study projects, teaching, and outreach to private companies and public institutions.
