Early-career researchers are sought who demonstrate an excellent research record in the area of the history of science/the history of knowledge. 

Amount:

The Max Planck Institute for the History of Science will offer funding for a research fellow or for visiting scholars as well as secretarial support and grant funding.

Description:

The Max Planck Society and Free University of Berlin are seeking to appoint a Professor of History of Science, who would also be responsible for leading a Max Planck Research Group. The candidate is expected to teach and conduct research; the standard teaching load is one course per semester. 

The candidate will be expected to participate in collaborative projects between the Max Planck Institute for the History of Science and the universities of Berlin on the history of knowledge and to contribute to other ongoing and planned collaborations.
