Must hold a doctoral degree in a humanities or social sciences subject. Must be able to speak and write in academic English. The successful candidate must be able to write, read, and speak a Scandinavian language within two years of entering the position.


The Department of Arts and Cultural Sciences invites applications for a permanent position as Professor of Digital Cultures. The professor is to participate actively in all parts of the division’s activities and to contribute to departmental work. The main work duty is to lead and develop research into digital cultures but also to teach on the division’s degree programs. Teaching may also occur in adjacent subjects. Besides lectures and seminars, the teaching assignment also includes responsibility for courses, course development, course administration, and supervision of degree projects. In addition, supervision of doctoral students and development work within the subject are also included in the position.
