Job Opportunity: Postdoctoral Fellowships in Anthropology of Migrant Health, Aarhus University

June 6, 2022

Eligibility

Applicants must hold a PhD or have equivalent qualifications in a relevant field.

Description

The Department of Anthropology at Aarhus University is accepting applications for two 2.5 years fixed-term postdoctoral positions starting October 1, 2022 in the anthropology of migrant health in Nepal. Ordinary infections have been projected to become the most common cause of death by 2050 due to the increase globally of antimicrobial resistance. This project will develop a biosocial network to link individuals, pathogens, workplaces, medicines and service providers as drivers or barriers to antimicrobial resistance. The Fellows will be expected to conduct fieldwork in two workplaces with a high density of migrant workers (six months at each site) located in different southern provinces of Nepal.
