The position is for up to two years at an annual salary of $58,500. 

Description

The Center for Digital History at Mount Vernon's Washington Library is accepting applications for a postdoctoral fellowship in the digital history and geography of the American revolutionary war era beginning in Spring 2021. This position combines scholarly work in the history and geography of North America in the late eighteenth century with development and stewardship of a digital public history project. The postdoctoral fellow will serve as project manager for ARGO: American Revolutionary Geographies Online. The fellow will co-develop ARGO's digital architecture, curate and write original content, and liaise with the frontend development team. 20% of time can be spent on the fellow's own scholarly projects.
