Job Opportunity: Postdoctoral Fellow in Environmental Justice, Rice University

Eligibility: 

Applicants from any humanistic discipline or the interpretive social sciences are eligible to apply and must have received a PhD between July 1, 2017 and June 30, 2020. Applicants from any humanistic discipline, whose research and teaching interests focus on issues related to environmental justice are eligible to apply.

Amount:

It is a full-time, benefits eligible, one-year appointment, renewable for a second year. The fellow will receive an annual salary of $55,000 and a $3,000 allowance for research and/or relocation to Houston.

Description: 

The Humanities Research Center (HRC) at Rice University will award one postdoctoral fellowship for an appointment in Environmental Justice. The fellow will develop or continue his or her own research project, participate in the HRC’s Diluvial Houston Initiative and the Center for Environmental Studies, mentor graduate and undergraduate students, and teach two courses per year.
