Description

The University of Florida Center for Gender, Sexualities, and Women’s Studies Research invites applications for a faculty position at the rank of Lecturer to begin August 16, 2021. This is a 9-month, renewable, non-tenure-track position. The candidate is expected to contribute enthusiastically to the interdisciplinary teaching and service mission of the Center and College by teaching both core required courses and needed electives that contribute to the women’s studies undergraduate curriculum, including the highly successful Health Disparities in Society minor, and to cross-disciplinary curricula. Applicants should be prepared to teach three to four undergraduate courses per semester, cultivate practicum sites, and oversee students' training and supervision at practicum sites.
