Description

The Environmental Studies Department at Antioch University invites applications for a full-time appointment in its innovative, interdisciplinary graduate department with programs leading to Master of Science and Doctoral degrees in Environmental Studies, Master of Science in Resource Management and Administration. The selected candidate will teach graduate courses, advise student research and applied projects, and advance their own research and service agenda, which offer student learning and funding opportunities.

We seek a highly collaborative faculty member to teach courses in environmental humanities and support all degree programs as the Department looks to grow and expand nationally as a School delivering programs in face to face, low-residency, hybrid, and online formats. We invite applications from individuals who are enthusiastic about innovative, experiential and interdisciplinary approaches to education and environmental studies. We seek a colleague committed to social justice and inclusive education with a record of professional collaboration, applied research, peer-reviewed or popular publications, and community engagement. Full-time faculty members are expected to devote 60-80% of their time to engagement with student learning.
