Scholars with a Ph.D. in history or the history of science and the rank of associate or full professor, a strong publication record and research agenda as well as exemplary teaching experience are encouraged to apply.

Description:
The Department of History at Purdue University seeks nominations and applications for the R. Mark Lubbers Chair in the History of Science.
The area of specialization and time period are open. The successful candidate will develop and teach undergraduate and graduate courses in the history of science, provide leadership for program development in the history of science, medicine, and technology, and contribute to the intellectual life of the department, College of Liberal Arts, and Purdue University.
