Description

The Department of History at the University of Nebraska at Omaha invites applications for a tenure-track position in the Environmental History of the North American West. Chronological period is open. Appointment will be at the assistant professor rank, to begin in August 2022. The successful candidate will teach a 3/3 load (nine hours a semester). Courses to be taught should include the department’s upper-division course, “History of the American West,” upper-division courses and graduate seminars in Environmental History and one or more of the department’s methodology courses. The successful candidate is expected to maintain a program of research and publication and to participate in the History Department programs.
