Description
The Department of Liberal Studies at California State University, Los Angeles is accepting applications for a Assistant Professor position focused on culturally-relevant science pedagogy in K-8 education.
The successful candidate will initially be expected to teach undergraduate liberal studies courses in the major core and in their area of expertise; develop, maintain, and support partnerships with local schools or education-related organizations; mentor undergraduate students related to education fieldwork experience; actively participate in program and curriculum development, including collaboration with faculty across the university related to undergraduate teacher preparation; and maintain an active research profile.
