Description:
The Consortium for History of Science, Technology, and Medicine invites paper proposals to be discussed in working groups bringing together scholars for monthly meetings in specialized fields related to the history of science, technology and medicine to share their works in progress. All interested scholars are welcome, either in person at the Consortium's offices in Philadelphia, or online via web conferencing software. The Consortium is currently soliciting paper proposals for the 2020-2021 academic year in the following working groups:
- Biological Sciences
- Collections and Collecting
- Early Modern Science
- Earth and Environmental Sciences
- Ocean Science, Technology and Medicine
- Medicine and Health
- Science in Early South Asia
- Technology
- Under Tropical Skies
