Call for Proposals: Center for ELSI Resources and Analysis Working Groups, Columbia University

October 15, 2021

Up to two working groups will be funded, each receiving up to $20,000 over two years.

Initial proposals are due October 15, 2021. Finalists will be invited to submit full proposals due December 31, 2021.

The Center for Ethical, Legal, and Social Implications of Genetics Resources and Analysis (CERA) is accepting applications for interdisciplinary working groups that will enhance collaboration across institutions. Working groups can meet person or virtually to deepen understanding of and create innovative approaches to addressing emerging, high priority, or understudied ethical, legal, and social implications of genetics issues.

Working Group outputs may include subsequent research proposals, educational materials, publications for scholarly and lay audiences, online tools, and events for scientists, clinicians, researchers, educators, journalists, policymakers, business leaders, and/or the public.
